In a tribute to time-honored craftsmanship and classical techniques, we proudly present the Naos Stools. Hand-carved from solid walnut wood, the collection draws inspiration from Greco-Roman architecture.
Our creative director visited ancient Greek structures, uncovering facades steeped in history and texture. Each button is meticulously hand-formed and imprinted onto these facades, with each curve and indentation mirroring the essence of the original design. Renowned artisans in Athens, Greece, then refined and glazed each button in complementary colors and textures. The textiles, including wool, silk, cashmere, and linen, are thoughtfully selected from our archive and are often one of a kind.
As we crafted these buttons as "documentation," we couldn't help but be humbled by the passage of time. The very buildings that once bore these textures and designs have witnessed the ebb and flow of empires. Now, we are privileged to carry a fragment of their history and documentation within each button – a narrative encapsulated in these miniature sculptures.
